Train the trainers content

Two "Train the trainers" sessions have been conducted to help FitNESS 2.0 partners to create content on the web. All these lectures are available online.

Session 1

The objective of this session is to learn how to create content on the web in a quick and easy way. We will first see the basics of content creation with HyperText Markup Language (HTML) and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). Then we will see that it is possible to use the Markdown language which will be easier to handle than HTML or CSS. And finally, we will see Typora which is a practical tool that will allow to write content for the web easily and quickly.

Session 2

The second session will show you not only how to create a Word-like document for the web, but a also a Powerpoint-like document without knowledge of HTML 4 or 5, CSS 3 or Javascript. You will have also an overview of a methodology to create your first quiz. All your documents need to be integrated among others, you will then learn [again] how to add metadata within the proposed architecture.

Interface to create or modify manifest files

This form will help you modify the metadata of your lectures. The metadata is used to find your lecture when a search is performed on FitNESS AgroParisTech. The more accurate your metadata is, the easier it will be to find your lectures.

The quiz creator tool is a tool that allows you to create quizzes. We searched and looked at the free tools that existed and that could fit our needs, we did not find a tool flexible enough to meet our needs, so we created one.

Here are the main features of this tool:

  • Create questions with a single answer or multiple possible answers

  • Create non-linear quizzes

  • Create random order for questions and answers

  • Display lecture suggestions based on answers

  • Add images in questions or answers

  • Add images that take up all the space

  • Create interactive menu in the form of a quiz

  • Open source and free to use
